The Taron VR is a handsome 35mm rangefinder camera with a fixed Nippon Kosokki 45mm f2.8 Taronar lens and pretty solid construction. In fact, the instruction manual says that “it is agreed by every photographer who owns one […] that Taron ranks among the finest cameras in the world.” So you know they’re not messing around! Rangefinder is accurate, lens is clean; focusing is a touch stiff, but smooth, and shutter speeds are good from 1/25s and up. Cosmetic condition is excellent except for a slight deformation in the lens filter ring and a slightly dented rewind-side body at the strap lug. So basically: works reasonablywell, has a few cosmetic flaws, still a sort of neat rangefinder camera. Includes original box and leather case, plus instruction manual.
