RYCOTE SC-08 Supercardioid Condenser Microphone – RYC979004

The Rycote SC-08 is a supercardioid pencil condenser microphone designed for a range of applications in studio and field recording.

The SC-08 microphones provide directionality with a virtually flat frequency response from 70Hz-20KHz, moderately dropping off below 60Hz. The mics are built on Rycotes low self-noise preamp design and capsules which offer a consistent sonic signature that mixes well when cut together with other Rycote microphones in the range.

The SC-08 mics can be used individually or in matched stereo pairs.

SC-08
Sharing the same core pre-amplifier electronics, the SC-08 (Super-cardioid) is the same as the shotguns in terms of performance but with a narrower polar pattern than the CA-08. This is a favourite for many as a vocal mic for dialogue and especially for interior recording

Applications
Great for Docu-series with sit-down interviews, Cinema, and TV.
Can also be used on organs or acoustic instruments as well (strings family).
