This Leica half case used to be a complete case, but now it’s a half case: there’s a small strip on the bottom of the case where you can see the original stitching. Obviously no effect on function, but it’s there. Otherwise, the leather looks excellent, with only minor wear; The original strap is included, but like with most 60-year-old leather straps, it’s probably best to replace it with something a bit newer. This is an M2/M3 generation case, and it fits best on cameras without a self timer: while an M3 will fit, for example, the front cut will prevent the self timer from being used. It will probably fitother film M cameras, but we haven’t checked them all to guarantee it. It definitely won’t fit the M5. Camera screw is 1/4″.
