This is the Surf and Pool underwater housing for Nikon D500 rated to 50 foot / 15-meter depth. Overall, it is 1/2 pound lighter, and features a slimmed-down, streamlined, backwith fewer controlsthan the200-foot depth rated Ikelite Underwater Housing for Nikon D500.

Ikelite is introducing the NEW Dry Lock (DL) Port Mount on their housing for D500. Building off of Ikelite popular port system for compact mirrorless cameras, they have re-designed and refined the concept and it’s ready for the big leagues.

DL Port Mount Features Include:

Flash

• Included Ikelite ICS-5 bulkhead connector with a manual hot shoe for the reliable electrical triggering of underwater strobes
• Optional TTL hot shoe and Nikon TTL Converter (Ikelite number 4301.3) provide TTL operation with compatible Ikelite DS strobes

Ergonomics

• Signature open-groove design suspends the rear o-ring in a natural position that is easier to maintain and more reliable than forcing the o-ring into a channel
• Sensitive new trigger lever is extendable for comfortable use when holding the optional right-hand quick release handle
• The back is completely clear for an unobstructed view of the camera and o-ring seal
• Control symbols are laser etched into the back and will never fade or rub off

Camera Compatibility

This housing is only compatible with the Nikon D500 DSLR as shipped by the manufacturer. Unless otherwise noted, this housing does not accommodate the use of add-on grips, battery grips, eyepieces, LCD covers, or other accessories.

Differences in lens and control placement prevent other Nikon DSLR models from being used in this housing. We are not aware of any other models which may be used in or adapted to this particular housing.
