The Fujifilm XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Lens is a high performance super-telephoto zoom lens for Fujifilm’s X-series mirrorless cameras.

The lens weighs only 1.37kg and provides a 35mm equivalent focal length of 152-609mm when mounted while providing a maximum aperture of f/4.5 to f/5.6 throughout the zoom range, giving you great reach with great light performance.

An optical construction with five ED lenses and one Super ED lens, as well as a 5.0-stop image stabilization system helps you to capture sharp images with minimal aberrations.

5.0-stop image stabilization system

An highly advanced image stabilisation system enables you to shoot at shutterspeeds up to 5 stops, or 32 times, slower than a non-stabilised lens. This feature is extremely useful on the higher focal lengths where you previously would have had to shoot at shutter speeds of up to 1/600th of a second.

Another useful feature of image stabilisation on a super-telephoto lens is panning. By shooting at slower shutter speeds on a high focal length lens you can easily show subject movement by tracking your subject. During panning the moving background will be blurred, and the tracking along with the image stabilisation will keep your subject sharp.

Compact and light weight: 94.8mm x 210.5mm/270mm and 1.37kg

Even though the Fujifilm XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is classified as a super-telephoto, it only weighs 1.37kg and features a compact size of 94.8mm x 210.5mm on the widest focal length or 94.8mm x 270mm when fully zoomed. This makes the lens comfortable to use and easy to carry around.

The tripod collar provides a well-balanced, comfortable, and secure support when shooting from a monopod or tripod.

Compatible with the Fujifilm 1.4x Teleconverter

The Fuji XF 100-400mm is compatible with the XF1.4X TC WR teleconverter. When attached, it becomes a 140-560mm F6.3-8 or 213-853mm (35mm equivalent). Phase detection AF shooting remains possible, even at F8.

Twin linear motors for fast and quiet autofocus

The lens utilises Twin linear motors to deliver fast focusing on moving subjects. The motors are so quiet that the lens is ideal for shooting live music performances and theatre productions. Even faster AF is possible with the focus limiter function, which limits the closest focusing point to 5m.

Weather/dust resistance, -10C low-temperature operation and fluorine coating

The Fujinon XF 100-400mm 4.5-5.6 features 13 weather and dust resistant seals at 12 points, allowing you to shoot with confidence in tough outdoor environments. The fluorine coating applied to the front lens element is water repellent and it is less susceptible to smudges and can easily be cleaned.

Lens hood with a polarizing filter window and lock mechanism

The lens hood features a sliding window so a polarizing filter can still be accessed even when the hood is in place. The hood also features a locking mechanism to keep securely attached to the lens.
